Our Story

LqdCo started a little differently than most pet brands.

Cana and I originally launched LQD Co (Liquid Company) selling tea infuser cups. We loved creating products that people could use every day, but we had no idea that our path would eventually lead us to the pet world.

At the time, we were fostering kittens and sharing our home with our three senior dogs. Between cleaning up cat waste and dog waste every day, we were going through a lot of poop bags and cat liners. It didn't take long for us to realize just how much single-use plastic we were throwing away.

Every bag was another piece of plastic headed to a landfill, and we couldn't stop thinking about how millions of pet owners were doing the exact same thing every single day. We wanted to find a better way.

So we started researching, testing, and learning everything we could about pet waste bags. Our goal was simple: create poop bags that are strong, dependable, and a more environmentally conscious choice for pet parents. 

LQD Co may have started with tea cups, but it found its true purpose through our love of animals. Today, we're proud to make products inspired by our own pets and the rescue animals that changed our lives. We believe that even small everyday choices—like the poop bag you use on your daily walk—can add up to make a real difference.
